How can you help?
Join us! - You can now join HCTC and participate in its
future. Join us!Membership of HCTC is open to all residents of Harrow, for a modest contribution of £3 per annum to cover expenses. As a member you'll have the right to speak and vote at General Meetings and influence the future direction of the campaign. Members may also seek assistance from the executive committee over problems dealing with Harrow council and its services. Local coordinators can sign you up and issue a receipt right now, and further details of how to join will be posted here when finalised. You can also join by post by sending a cheque with your name and address - and preferably your telephone number and email address - to the address below. The use of telephones and email (in particular) speeds response and keeps costs down.
HCTC You will receive a receipt by post. If you do not wish to join we would still welcome a donation of any amount. PetitionThe original petition is now closed - with well over 25,000 names counted it's clearly made its point! A new petition started in 2005 in try and persuade the government that the cost of the 2012 Olympics shouldn't be paid by surcharging Londoners, but that the cost should be spread throughout the country. You can register your support on-line here. Fighting FundAlthough this campaign is run entirely by volunteers, it is not without financial cost. Expenses were originally borne by the campaigners themselves, but the movement is now too big! If you can spare a contribution to the 'fighting fund' it will help pay for printing, postage and communications (this web space has been kindly donated by AG-Netcom). Please note that we cannot accept monies from any governmental or political bodies. Donation cheques payable to HCTC may be posted to: HCTC or direct to the campaign bank account:
