| Olympic Surcharge for London only?Whatever you feel about Britain hosting the Olympic Games in 2012, it is outrageous that only London Council Tax payers will be burdened paying for them. Londoners have been committed to provide an unlimited subsidy for the games for at least another twelve years. The Prime Minister, Tony Blair, said the Olympics will benefit the whole nation – clearly the whole nation should be paying for them.
